Loaf has also been given this mission.
Unfortunately, Loaf’s definition of perfect changes rather dramatically during the day.
First, he finds a pumpkin barely bigger than his paw and considers the job complete.
Then he discovers an enormous pumpkin.
Naturally, he decides that one must be better.
There is only one small problem.
It won’t move. 😂
From wandering through rows of pumpkins to taking a cozy hayride home, Pumpkin Patch Day turns a classic autumn outing into a sweet little Stitch and Loaf adventure children can color from beginning to end.

Page 1 — Welcome to the Pumpkin Patch!
Stitch and Loaf arrive at a cozy autumn pumpkin farm. Stitch pulls their empty little wagon through the rustic entrance while looking excitedly over all the pumpkins waiting to be discovered.
Loaf has already stopped to inspect a tiny pumpkin.
Is it a pumpkin?
Is it an orange ball?
Further investigation is clearly required.
Page 2 — The Pumpkin Hunt
Now they’re deep in the patch, and Stitch is taking pumpkin selection very seriously.
Tall pumpkin?
Round pumpkin?
Lumpy pumpkin?
Enormous pumpkin?
She carefully compares her options while Loaf sits proudly beside the tiniest pumpkin he could possibly have found.
His search is over.
Apparently everyone else is just wasting time.
Page 3 — Loaf’s Pumpkin Problem
Loaf has reconsidered his decision.
Why take home a tiny pumpkin when there is an enormous one sitting right there?
He braces all four paws against the ground and pushes with everything he’s got.
The pumpkin does not move.
Not even slightly.
Nearby, Stitch kneels with one hand over her mouth, desperately trying not to laugh.
Loaf, meanwhile, is beginning to suspect the pumpkin is being difficult on purpose. 😂
Page 4 — Hayride Home
The perfect pumpkin has finally been chosen, and it’s time for a relaxing ride through the fields.
Stitch sits comfortably on a hay bale with their pumpkin beside her while the wagon travels past autumn trees, fences and pumpkin fields.
Loaf is partly buried in the hay.
And somehow, one tiny piece of straw has landed directly on top of his head.
He’s not impressed.
Page 5 — The Perfect Pumpkin
Back home, Stitch carefully wipes the last little bit of dirt from their chosen pumpkin before placing it proudly on the porch.
Loaf sits on the opposite side with one paw resting importantly against it.
Judging by his expression, he would like everyone to understand that he selected it, transported it and probably grew it himself.
Another successful Loaf operation.
A Little Autumn Story to Color
Pumpkin Patch Day isn’t simply a collection of pumpkin pictures.
The five pages create one continuous autumn adventure.
Children arrive at the pumpkin patch with Stitch and Loaf, search for the perfect pumpkin, encounter Loaf’s rather ambitious pumpkin problem, enjoy the hayride and finally bring their chosen pumpkin home.
Color the pages in order and they become a tiny illustrated story—with no dialogue required.
Stitch and Loaf’s expressions do plenty of the storytelling themselves.
Pumpkins in All Shapes and Sizes
One of the fun parts of visiting a pumpkin patch is discovering that pumpkins aren’t all the same.
Some are enormous.
Some are tiny.
Some are tall and narrow.
Others are wonderfully round or slightly lumpy.
The episode gives children opportunities to color different pumpkin shapes while following Stitch’s search for the perfect one.
And there really doesn’t have to be a correct pumpkin color.
Traditional orange is lovely—but purple, pink, green, yellow or rainbow pumpkins are perfectly welcome in Stitch and Loaf’s world.

Pumpkin patches are filled with wonderful fall details, but a coloring page can quickly become overwhelming when every inch is packed with leaves, hay and tiny pumpkins.

Declare victory.
Discover bigger pumpkin.
Abandon original plan.
Attempt to move pumpkin approximately ten times his size.
Become personally offended when physics intervenes.
Eventually take credit for whichever pumpkin Stitch chooses.
Honestly, it’s a solid system. 😂
His little side story gives children something funny to follow while Stitch moves through the actual pumpkin-picking adventure.
Make a Mini Pumpkin Patch Coloring Book
Print all five pages and keep them together in order to create a little Pumpkin Patch Day coloring book.
Children could even make the activity part of an autumn afternoon.
Color the episode, decorate a real pumpkin, make a pumpkin craft or use orange and brown paper scraps to create a fall collage.
